What type of sand should I use? Does it have to be sand?

You can use nearly any kind of sand to fill the bags. We buy ours from our local DIY store. If you want to use sand from the beach, please check the local regulations first to avoid potential fines or other penalties. 

Some customers have also used gravel or similar materials. However, you’ll get the best stability with sand.
